Microsoft SQL Server 2000 所有(yǒu)安(ān)裝(zhuāng)都需要 Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0。Microsoft 管理(lǐ)控制台 (MMC) 和 HTML 幫助也需要 Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0。最小(xiǎo)安(ān)裝(zhuāng)已足夠，而且 Internet Explorer 不必是默認浏覽器。

網絡軟件要求
Microsoft Windows NT、Windows 2000、Windows Me、Windows 98 和 Windows 95 都具(jù)有(yǒu)内置網絡軟件。隻有(yǒu)在使用(yòng) Banyan VINES 或 AppleTalk ADSP 時，才需要其它網絡軟件。Novel NetWare IPX/SPX 客戶端支持由 Windows Networking 的 NWLink 協議提供。
注：SQL Server 2000 的某些功能(néng)要求在Microsoft Windows 2000 Server以上的版本才能(néng)運行。因此大家安(ān)裝(zhuāng)Windows Server 2000(建議為(wèi)Advanced版本)，可(kě)以學(xué)習和使用(yòng)到SQL Server 2000的更多(duō)功能(néng)，以及享受更好的性能(néng)。
